Why Us?
Consistent, high speed WiFi connections provide seamless access and end-to-end management
Cost effective, simple and easy management even over multiple locations
Our hardware provides unified, dual-band wireless access points with high performance switching and gateways, firewall and content filtering
By choosing a managed WiFi solution, you’re creating a more solid network, greater control, better security and increased scalability
Our WiFi experts conduct in-depth site surveys to ensure maximum performance and optimal coverage, essential for the seamless running of your organisation
Maintaining Compliance
With our network setups we ensure any electronic point of sale or “EPOS” follows PCI Compliance.
We adhere to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard allowing us to provide the network you need for you “EPOS” system.
Services we Provide
Easily separated networks for staff, infrastructure, and guest access, with the ability to lock down network policy on a per-device basis through a secure remote interface
Simple to use management from a central portal, creating consistent networks for business with no-fuss guest access, or ticketing and management for monetised WiFi
Implementing VLANs to subdivide your network; making it easily scalable and more secure – with hardware firewalls, network switches and wireless access points all maintained with firmware upgrades by The WiFi Company
Dividing the network and implementing VLANs helps to manage risk in the event of a security breach to one part of the network, whilst maintaining day-to-day connectivity for smooth operation
With our Content Filtering we can ensure that specific sites such as Twitter or Facebook are completely blocked on the network. This can be done for any site simply give us a list of sites you wish to be blocked on the network and we can filter that content so users can’t access it.
If for any reason there is a specific site that you want to be able to access however it falls in with the filtered content URLs or keywords, we can specifically whitelist that site allowing you to access that specific site while keeping the other content that would be filtered using that keyword restricted.
Through the use of VLANs we can subdivide your network; making it easily scalable and more secure -with hardware firewalls, network switches and wireless access points all maintained with firmware upgrades by The WiFi Company.
Dividing the network and implementing VLANs helps to manage risk in the event of a security breach to one part of the network, whilst maintaining day-to-day connectivity for smooth operation.
Through the use of VLANs we can also create a subdivided network to be used for EPOS systems for certain clients, with this we ensure to maintain PCI Compliance so clients of ours can feel comfortable allowing us to provide you with the network you need.
Having stable and reliable WiFi connection across the entire site is important for many companies.
With the use of on site maps and software we can best plot the locations for access points throughout a workplace, this allows us to map the best locations for the access points to provide full site coverage in the workplace.
With the equipment we use we can setup a paid ticketing system allowing a user to print a set of tickets with the information needed to sign in to a guest network.
With the paid ticketing system we can create a set of rules allowing the ticket information to only allow a set timeframe for the connected devices.
Through linking the paid ticketing system with content filtering we can also restrict certain content on that guest network if requested.
Where needed we can setup a Line of Sight internet connection from one location to another, granted the transmit and recieve stations can be in clear view of each other without any obstacles possibly blocking the line of sight of the stations.
Running a line of site connection means no underground cables , quicker installation times and lower latency. With the Line of Sight setup cost also being generally cheaper than running an underground cable which would be the traditional solution.
With the equipment we can provide for your network we can create separate public and private networks to be used by the client.
Having two separate networks allows for the separation of company devices from personal devices allowing for separate permissions and restrictions for both networks and more.
Through the use of Data Logging we can monitor and analyse specific trends or record data-based events/actions of the network.
Using this data gathered overtime we can provide a better service through analysing the habits of the devices on the network, allowing us to better manage the network.
When desired we can create User and Service Agreements for the clients use with their newly setup network.
By providing the client with the ability to setup user and service agreements, those who access the clients network are greeted with the agreement that users are required to agree with in order to get access to the network.
This allows for better management of the devices joining the network.
In situations where a temporary network is needed we have the ability to provided a fully functioning scalable network.
This equipment for hire service is great for clients looking to provide their customers with a temporary network over a specified time period, ideal for events such as outdoor festivals, concerts and more.
What we use
As part of our service we make use of DrayTek & Ubiquiti Networks equipment and software.
Through using a variety of equipment we are able to make use of the tools provided by both, for example we can implement content filtering and setup multiple networks using the DrayTek router while benefiting from the Topology Map and floorplan designs available with the Ubiquiti software.
Mapping Tools
UNIFI Topology map
One of the mapping tools we make use of is the UNIFI topology map.
This tool allows us to map all the connected devices on the network and monitor device connectivity. Should a problem occur in the network we can locate the root of the problem using the topology map finding which device isn’t functioning as expected.
UNIFI Floorplan designs
The UNIFI floorplan tool is a great tool we utilise for plotting the best location for the access points being installed on site.
Using the Floorplan we can select the material of the exterior and interior walls and position the access points in away that provides optimal coverage across the clients site without needing to be at the site.
This means we can spend more time planning the location of the equipment before getting to the location, increasing the speed of our install when we get on site.
Our Location & Working Area
Our base of operation is in the Rombourne Industrial Center north of Cardiff, putting us in a prime location to provide WiFi installations in and around:
Cardiff, Swansea, RCT, Newport, Monmouth, West Wales, Bristol and South West England.
